A Book Challenge for Andre


Andre was 37 years old. He died from heart disease. He was a very nice man. He lived with Stacey and his two cats and one dog. He was my uncle and l loved him a lot.

I am donating money for the Family Room at the hospital to remember Andre. I want to help to make $250 - maybe more. I am going to ask people to give me 25 cents for every book I read. My goal is to read 100 books.

Book 27 - Hey Little Ant by Phillip and Hannah Hoose

The kid has to decide what he should do about squishing an ant.  The ant is trying to convince him not to let his shoe come down and squish him.  My favourite part was when the ant was gigantic.  I think the boy should not let his shoe come down because what would you want to happen if you were the ant. 

So you should not squish ants.  Except the red ants because they bite, bite, bite.   
This is a gold star book.

Book 26 - Diary of a Spider by Doreen Cronin

 This is a funny book about a spider who is friends with a fly.  This is his diary.  My favourite part of this book is when Fly gets stuck in Spider's web and now Fly is not allowed playing at Spider's house any more. 

This book is a gold star!

A Note from Aunt Stacey - Please forgive the delay in posting Kael's book reviews.  Kael has been reading right along but his administrative assistant/aunt as been ill and on vacation. I assure you Kael has been working on his goal in my absence and I will soon have more book reviews posted.
