Book 21 - Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late! - Mo Willems

This is about a pigeon who wants to go to a hot dog party. 

And wants to stay up late.  He yawns a lot in this book. 

He tries everything to stay up late!  My favourite part is 

Hey! Hey!

Ho! Ho!

This here pigeon just won't go!



Book 20 - Love You Forever by Robert Munsch

 It is about a mom and her son.  Sometimes she says that he is driving her crazy and she wants to sell him to the zoo!  But every night she sneaks into his room and sings a song about how she loves him.  (Singing song) 

"I love you forever, I'll like you for always,

As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be."  It says that a lot in this book. 

Book 19 - Elephants Cannot Dance! by Mo Willems

 This is ANOTHER Piggie and Gerald Book!  I LOVE Mo Willems books!  Elephants can dance - who knew?   Turns out elephants can dance they just don't think they can!  I think elephants practice dancing while the rest of us are asleep. 

Book 18 - The Mouse that Snored by Bernard Waber

 It is about a family that is very quiet.  Everything they do is quiet.  Then one night a mouse moves in that snores so loud it shakes the house!  They teach the mouse to be quiet all day and then the family buys earplugs for nighttime. 

The pictures are good except the drawing of the parrot are horrible.  Parts of this book are hard and parts are easy. 

Book 17 - My Mom is Great by Gaby Goldsack

This book says "To Kael and Krista from Santa".  A good book! A gold star book because my Mom IS great.  This story about a great Mom, she tackles stinky sock monsters, she helps him find stuff that he looked for everywhere and thought he would never see again, she fixes stuff even though it was broken.  This is like my Mom because she likes tea and turns from Morning Mommy to Awesome Mommy and she is smart and she says I am great. I made up the tea part but that should have been included in the book.  I like the picture of the Mom tackling the monster that breathes stinky sock breath. 

Book 16 - Here's My Home Page! by Susan Hughes

This is a gold star.  It is about a little girl making a home page.  I have the biggest webpage ever!  Other kids wrote about India and there could be some on France.  The girl's mom helps her.  My aunt helps me with my website.
