Book 42 - Sometimes by Keith Baker

This book is a song so I will sing it to you.  (Editor's note:  This review should be sung aloud.) 

It is all about a an alligatoooor

Sometimes he is happy, sometimes he is sad, sometimes he is up or down sometimes he is hot or sometimes he is coooold!

He says

"I like who I am and I like what I do,

I am all of these things. 

What about yooooou?"

I am Kael and I am everthing that I like to beee

I like to be in an airplane and I like to be in a car I like to be asleep in my mom's room and I reeeeealllly want to sleep at Stacey's house tonight.  What about you?

Book 41 - Curious George Cleans Up by Stephen Krensky

George the monkey is about a monkey that likes to do a lot of things.  He spilled the grape juice on the rug so he shoots a lot of water into the house to get the stain out.  He had to borrow a pump then he used it in the house to get it out.  He used a cow to bring the pump.  When his dad came hom the rug was soaked. 

This is a silver star.

Book 40 - Hiccup the Hero by Catherine Hapka

 The book is about a dragon and a Viking who want to fight.  The dragons don't want to fight but they need food for a very big dragon.  The book doesn't tell us the story like the movie does but it is a gold star.

Book 39 - The Well-Mannered Monster by Marcy Brown and Denis Haley

 This is about a monster with a lot of good and always used good manners.  He does everything nice, he even does the dishes!  They had a really, really big supper.  They had turkey and ham and it looked like supper at Dorice's house!  

My favourite part is that the monster always says "thank you".   

Book 38 - Hi Fly Guy! by Tedd Arnold

I like this book.  I like the part when the Fly Guy gets into the pet show.  My favourite trick is the fancy flying.  I like the pictures of the fly because of his big eyes!

Book 37 - The Timmy Touch by Kelli Chipponeri

This book is really funny.  Cosmo heard about a king that whatever he touched turned into gold.  So Timmy wished that everything he touched turned into things to make a pizza.  It didn't work because he did a whole bunch of things wrong.  His big mistake as that he accidentally touched Cosmo and he turned into a big meatball!  I did not like that they touched all the things to make stuff for the pizza but didn't have the pizza dough.
