Book 25! - Roger Loses His Marbles by Susanna Gretz

Roger has Lego, crayons and marbles just like me.  I won a big jar of marbles one time.  I guessed something like 1003 marbles and there was about 1003 marbles in the jar! 

This book is about Roger losing his marbles.  There is one in the cactus plant and a bunch in the window sill but he can't find them because his room is SO messy.  He finds the marbles and he has a game with Aunt Lulu.  He was always throwing all of his toys out of the toy box to find them. 

I read this book at the library.  Look for Click Clack Moo, and Roger Loses his Marbles, and No Ghost Under the Bed at the library.  I recommend these books are really good.  I am going to take some more books home with me to read and a movie. 

This is a bronze star book because it was super easy to read.  Gold means it is super hard or super good and silver means it is in the middle.  All the Mo Willems books are gold stars because he is my favourite author and illustrator. 

Book 24 - Click Clack Moo - Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin

And Ducks that type to be exact!  This book is about the cows that can type and they were trying to get a lot of electric blankets because they were so cold at night.  And they send lots and lots of notes and Farmer Brown sends lots of lots of notes.  They negotiate the electric blankets.  The Duck used the old typewriter to negotiate for the diving board.  This is a gold star.  The thing I like the best is the part that goes:

Book 23 - No Ghost Under My Bed by Guido Van Genechten

Jake is scared of the ghost and he is making his Dad look everywhere.  He sent his Dad behind the door and there was a drawing of one.  Jake was so scared of the drawing of the ghost.  This is a gold star it has great pictures and I like the story.  I like when the Dad walked behind the door.

Book 22 - Eat Your Peas by Kes Grey and Nick Sharratt

This is a gold star book.  This is about a little girl who hates peas just like me.  I don't like broccoli either.  Her mom tries to get her to eat them by telling her that she will buy her anything.  She even offers to buy Africa and 100 chocolate factories. 

The little girl tells her mom that she will eat the peas if her mom eats the brussel sprouts.  Her mom does not like brussel sprouts just like my mom.  So they decide just to have dessert instead.
